• Water for washing

1. Dig up dandelion roots, selecting larger, older plants for bigger roots.
2. Wash thoroughly to remove all dirt and soil.
3. Chop into small, even pieces.
4. Spread on a baking sheet and roast in the oven at 180°C for 25-30 minutes, stirring occasionally until dark brown and fragrant.
5. Allow to cool completely, then grind in a coffee grinder or food processor.
6. To serve, use 1-2 teaspoons per cup and brew like coffee in a cafetiere or filter.
7. Add oat milk and sweetener if desired.
8. Store the ground root in an airtight container.
