Possibly the easiest hot lunch going. The wild garlic gives standard cheese on toast a proper upgrade.
• 4 slices bread
• 100g cheddar cheese, grated
• 6-8 wild garlic leaves, washed and roughly chopped
1 tbsp butter
• Pinch of black pepper
1. Butter the bread slices on one side.
2. Mix the chopped wild garlic with the grated cheese and pepper.
3. Place bread butter-side down in a frying pan over medium heat.
4. Sprinkle cheese and wild garlic mixture on top.
5. Top with another slice of bread, butter-side up.
6. Cook for 2-3 minutes, then flip and cook for another 2 minutes until golden and cheese is melted.
